What can you wear with a cream-colored bag?

I never owned a cream-colored bag before and since it is so light I don’t know what to wear with it (I usually wear black or dark brown bags). I bought it to wear in the Spring when I will bring out my more light-colored clothing. The bag looks similar to this one in both style and color expect it is bigger:

You can pull off almost any colors while wearing cream – it’s similar to white in that way. You can pair it with rich jewel tones for a nice background that will make the bag pop – rich plum or violet, deep red or mauve, navy or royal blue, hunter green, or a rusty pumpkin orange. Whatever you have will match up, even a dark-colored winter coat or jacket. Or if you want your bag to seem light, airy, and “springy” you can pair it with other light colors, such as cream, off-white, gray, tans, light browns, anything.
